First up on this atypical Monday night, Lost Coast Brewery's Tangerine Wheat.
This delicious beer has a really great balanced flavor of tangerine peel and wheat flavors from the brewing process. Tangerine Wheat is a very approachable beer for everyone. Overall, the group enjoyed it.
Next up is Weihenstephaner Bavarian style Hefe Weissbier. As the bottle states, it's the world's oldest brewery.
This beer was not a favorite amongst the girls. Their complaints were that this beer was "too wheaty". Only two of us drank this one which in my opinion is vey well made.
Delirium Tremens is the next one up. I love this beer. I first started drinking High alcohol beers while in Italy.
This Belgian beer is strong and tasty. At 8.5% alcohol this is not one to drink all night long.
Delirium has that acidic 'zing' towards the back of your tongue. Some weren't fans of that quality. Others said it resembled wine and all the girls loved the bottle.
Second to the end is Tahiti's Hinano. We should've tasted this beer first. It the lightest of the group and it's just a plain and watery lager. Nothing special. Nothing to write home about. Nothing to even grab the pen for.
And finally, Chimay Ale Peres Trappistes. This is a luxury beer. Tasty, well made and smooth around the rough edges.
