Travelling with my friend and co-worker PB and my new friend SD, we made our way up to see Bob at Cannard Farms in the Sonoma Mountains. Those who know Bob, and his work, know that he is a brilliant and extraordinary person.
Cardoons
His land is alive and with breath. The products we tasted straight from the ground are, were and will always be alive in some form or another. Everything on this planet has an active relationship and after meeting Dr. AL, you will know what I mean!
Wine Vinegar
I can't really tell you exactly where the Cannard Farm is because on the way we missed the turn a few times, but I can tell you that only the best restaurants have the privellage of using the produce his land can offer.
It was an honor to meet him and this day in life will not be forgotten.
