The project at hand is importing... Damn, is this a confusing project at attacking/achieving. The US government agenices and the internet don't mix very well and the information I see is all intermixed and intermingled.
I want to find info on importing laws for cured meats into the USA...this can be a nice way of paying some student loans, since no one who reads my blog has donated to my 'eating fund' that Pay Pal has generously posted a button to (Not Begging though!).
So, back and forth, back and forth, and slowly I am getting somewhere - but in the end, we'll see if you LA'ers will be able to enjoy some special Ore Salumi!!!
Other than that, everything is well. Thanks to Alberto for 'shouting' my website out LOUD!! He had a good time here but I didn't know it was that good of a time (hehe!). Dal Pescatore (DP) was a great time as well, but it was more for enjoying then writing...I would rec. Enoteca Pinchiorri (EP) over DP although the cost for EP is double that of DP. Don't get me wrong, it was an awesome time, but when comparing two ***(three star) restaurants, hands down to EP which was the highlight of my wine drinking in a restaurant life so far!
Anything new happening with you? I am planning a quick trip around Europe when I leave Al Vedel (around April 16). I plan on going to NYC from London on May 4th. That will give me a few weeks to organize myslef and use Ryan Air to the best of my abbilities.
I will post my final schedule and ask for help!
Ciao,
Ore
(the pictures posted were some nice shots from last July, taken off the cliffs of Ancona)
Plus...I went 180 km/h earlier today on Marco's Yamaha motorcycle ( I was the passenger) - he states that the motor is the same as Valentino Rossi's - I think he is right because today was also the first time I was TRULLY AFRAID OF DEATH!! What a rush though...talk about a quick high...buy a bike.
